The Do Nothing Project
Mindfulness, at least here, is not about escaping reality or floating through life in permanent bliss. It is practical attention training for people living in a noisy, overstimulated world.
The three core skills we train are concentration, sensory clarity and equanimity. In simple terms... learning how to focus attention, notice experience more clearly and stay steadier under pressure instead of being pulled around by every thought, emotion and distraction that appears.
These are trainable skills that can help calm the nervous system, improve clarity and create a little more space inside a busy mind.
